On October 25, entrepreneur, recipe developer, and co-founder of Southbound Tequila, Ivey Childers, celebrated the launch of her new, all-occasion premium tequila.

In the world of spirits, the story behind the bottle can often be as enriching as the liquid it contains. This is notably true for Southbound Tequila, a brand born from a 15-year quest for the quintessential tequila profile.

Underwood recently ventured into the world of mixology as she joined her dear friend Ivey Childers, the co-founder and CEO of the newly released Southbound Tequila, in the delightful pursuit of taste-testing an original tequila cocktail recipe.

Underwood joined Childers for the premiere episode of Garden to Glass, a new YouTube series that features “friendship, stories, and shaking up cocktails” using the new tequila with “ingredients straight from the garden.”

“I don’t taste tequila,” Underwood said while taking a sip, “this one is all about the blackberries and blanco. That’s dangerous.”
